Garthim's Temperament

Garthim has stood out since the whelping box. He has shown confidence, gusto, power, and drive since puppyhood and he continues to impress us. Garthim is a truly stable working dog; though he shows aggression and power in his protection training, he is social and stable with people. Garthim will joyfully work for food, but will do absolutely anything for his ball and handler. Though his size and power create difficulties with his IGP training, his biddability and drive make him a joy to work with. Garthim is social with female dogs outside of his pack, but is very dominant with males. Like his dam, he is a very affectionate dog who has no problem protecting his family and property if called to action. We are very proud of what Garthim is maturing into, and look forward to continuing in his young IGP career.
