Future's Temperament
Since a young age, Future as been laid back and social. She finished quickly in AKC and was exclusively trained and handled by her owner! Future enjoys regular walks, playing in the hose, and spending time with her owner at outdoor restaurants and social events (prior to the pandemic). She is friendly with other dogs, including those outside of her pack. Future loves children and even helps take care of kittens. Future is an affectionate girl that has no problem protecting her family if needed. We are more than excited to have Future as part of our breeding program!

Future's Health
Health is of the utmost importance to us in our breeding program and we feel it is important to explain why we opted to use Future for breeding despite her hip and elbow scores from OFA. While we do believe that health testing is pivotal for making the best decisions when it comes to breeding, it is still only a piece of the puzzle. However, in Future's specific case, she was involved in a head on collision, which resulted in Future crashing into the dashboard of the vehicle, at the delicate growing age of only 12 weeks. After consulting with multiple Board Certified Orthopedic Specialists and a Sports Medicine Specialist, and comparing the hip and elbow radiographs of the entire litter, we felt comfortable moving forward with the breeding. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss this further, please use the contact link to reach out. If you would like to compare the hip and elbow radiographs of the litter (or any of our litters), please click here or visit our Previous Litters pages.
